The public ansible tower plugin in Digital Release uses a deprecated tower_cli, the need is to have an official ansible tower plugin with the latest cli supported by Redhat or that uses the native tower API calls

In Digital Release i need to run job deployment that are designed in ansible Tower.
the communautary plugin uses a tower_cli deprecated and we suffer from intempestive disconnections.
So the need is to have a supported ansible plugin that uses or the latest version of the tower_cli (3.8.6), or calls the native tower API

  • Thank you for the feedback, in october 2023, we will be working on the latest version of Ansible Tower: AAP2 .
    So we will need a plugin calling the APIs instead of using the cli.

  • Ansible Tower will be designated as the officially supported plugin, utilizing the official Tower API found at https://docs.ansible.com/ansible-tower/2.3.0/html/towerapi/intro.html. This update will be included in one of our Early Access releases prior to the official release in October 2023. We will notify you as soon as it becomes available.
