Would be great if there was a way to save filters and name them and make them available across your user base so that all they do to see is THEIR slice of the right data by simply selecting the correctly named filter.

  • Yes, this would be extremely helpful!

  • It's almost unbearable that you have a user-definable filter, but no way to save a filter you've created manually to that list, and the list of filterable items in the "My Filters" area is almost impossible to reconcile with the elements I'm trying to filter on. Please do saveable filters.

  • Saving filter sets would save me a lot of frustration! I often find myself needing to flip back-and-forth between numerous filter settings for the various tasks I have to complete.

I do not need the ability to share these filters. At a minimum, just saving them as my own for future re-use.

  • It would be very helpful, and cut down on user frustration, if we were able to save off Filters by individual members.

  • Saving templates would 1)Save a lot of time 2) Remove user frustration. My team and I would utilize this feature on a daily basis. Each meeting requires different views of fields and having to filter every time is time consuming and annoying.

  • There are two ways I would use this feature. 1) Be able to save filtered views and easily flip between them on the storyboard during meetings 2) Send the url of a saved view for someone to take action

  • Agree - I switch constantly between planning levels and often I have to change the selected fields.

  • Thank you all for your comments. This kind of feedback is very important and guides our decisions when evaluating new features. I just wanted to give everyone an update that we have recently made filtering a lot more powerful and that we are looking at implementing the ability to save and recall filters. I will give you another update, once we start the implementation.

  • I originally thought this was possible in Planning Room, but have since learned otherwise. I too would find this very valuable so I can share my view with others.

  • As of the Winter 2018 release, you can save your grid views using “My Views”. The “My Views” button makes it easy to save and recall customized filters on the grid, including which columns are visible, editable fields, page sorting, and number of items per page. You also have the option to save your current project scope selection into your view. Please note that "My Views" cannot be shared with other users.

Thanks again to all of you for voting. I hope you enjoy this new feature.
