It would be useful to assign a template for stories or defects to a team so that stories or defects created in their team room via the + button at the bottom of the columns opened with the assigned template. This would save time and help the team follow the template style. This is similar to the + sign in the top right corner of Agility allowing the user to create from a template but with fewer steps and team-by-team customization.

Isn't it possible today that we can name the template in such a way that teams can pick a specific template and start using it while creating the story/defect? Why do you think team assignment is required for templates?
