All Programs, EPICs and Features start with E-##### It would be beneficial to have Programs be P-####, Epics - E-####, Features F-#####.
This would make it easier to pull data and analytics, better overall reporting, easy in visual identification of levels, cleaner dashboard, looking for nesting that causes reporting problems.

The reason they start with 'E' is because they are all considered a portfolio item (previously called Epic) in Agility. The type field is what signifies a feature, capability, etc. Since the ID is unique we can't keep updating it when someone changes the type from say a feature to an epic. This would cause issues with reporting and API usage.
