Currently Version One is able to push notifications based on subscriptions to a specific Slack Channel.

This can be done in one of two ways.
1. custom integration in slack using incoming webhooks
2. create slack app for web hook

In both cases all types of notifications (portfolio item created; backlog item created / status change; new defect etc) will push to a single Slack Channel.

it would be useful to create multiple webhooks so that different types of notifications can arrive in different channels depending on type of notification.
This way the appropriate party could be alerted as needed, eg Director / gets word when new portfolio item created; analyst/dev gets notified when a new defect is identified etc

A dedicated slack app created by would probably be ideal for clients.
