Someone added a custom field but I don't know who did it, when they did it or why. It'd sure be nice to be able to see some history of Admin Configuration activity.

  • I agree. Some type of auditing of the Administration functions would be great!

  • I actually find it hard to believe that there is NOT an audit trail of changes. This is a highly desireable feature!!

  • Having an audit of who changed the system is extremely important. If you don't know who has changed/added/deleted something how do you know who to ask any questions too. Also if you have policies in place that require certain fields be in place, and someone removes them, or changes a drop down, etc., you don't know who to let know about the error so that they don't do it again.

  • Yes, please!

  • My company would find this feature particularly helpful.

  • Not having an audit trail presents challenges for our organization. We need to delegate administrative permissions to people outside our team, but doing so means 'stuff can happen' and we don't know who did it or why. Please consider adding this feature.

  • Agreed. There needs to be an audit trail for custom fields. A audit report would also help. In what project/project workspace is it used. Is the project still active? When is the last time a custom field what used (is it obsolete)?

  • With the detailed history and commenting features for backlog items, I, too, am surprised there is no history or place to make notes for custom fields. We have several people with Sys Admin privileges and sometimes don't know who created a field, who is using, or if it is still being used.

  • Absolutely necessary. Please implement ASAP
