As a team member, I would like a place to house a manageable definition of ready, done, as well as team norms list for quite a few reasons.

1. It would give members the ability to quickly see how 'ready' a story is for the picking
2. It would give members the ability to quickly see what else needs completed to call it 'done.'
3. It would allow members to compare stories against defined characteristics of what the team is all about.
4. It would allow the lists to be manageable with snapshots of what the lists were like at the time of the sprint to avoid confusion.
5. It solves many of the problem areas I've read through the ideas space as those are a foundation of agile team success.
