In all views, when you pick a feature group as a filter, the list displayed is flat. This makes it very difficult to locate the correct feature group since they are ordered by a hierarchy and you cannot see that hierarchy.
When editing a backlog item, if you are selecting a feature group, you get a properly indented list clearly displaying the hierarchy. This same display would be ideal for the filter selection.

Thank you all for your valuable input. I am happy to announce that Feature Groups/Backlog Groups are now shown hierarchically in filter selections.
