As an agile team, I want to see the time my work items spend in each status so that I can find issues and improve my working methods

Acceptance criteria:
= Can see time spent in each status in work item details
= Can report on average time in each status for all work items, by type and time range
= Can report on frequency of items in each status for all work items (bar chart version of a CFD)

Suggestions for possible solutions:
= Update the Lifecycle Workitem Cycle Time report to allow reporting on one status at a time, and
= Add report which shows time in status for all status values of a workflow, in the workflow order
= Show fractional days spent in each status

...Or...

= Update Analytics "Days in Status" tracking to include fractional days, not just integer values

Comments

  • "Can see time spent in each status in work item details" is not absolutely needed if the report is available... And the report must display customized status values according to our Team Process such as "Rework".
