As a BA I work with multiple teams and I use the Portfolio Tree View frequently to see what work needs to be planned or completed.

Every time I need to switch teams, I have to update all the filter parameters. This happens multiple times a day, so sometimes as a workaround, I have multiple windows open, but as soon as I save one of the views, it will go back to whatever the recent view is, even when I have multiple pages open.

It would be nice to be able to save those filter parameters as a a favorite so that I can just select the favorite and toggle between the teams.

  • Thank you for your idea. This kind of feedback is very important and guides our decisions when evaluating new features. I agree with you regarding the ability to save and recall filters. We are currently looking into that feature and I will give you another update, once we start the implementation.

  • I am happy to announce that we are starting work on a new feature that will allow you to save "favorite" filters for each grid. Please stay tuned and thanks for participating.

  • As of the Winter 2018 release, you can save your grid views using “My Views”. The “My Views” button makes it easy to save and recall customized filters on the grid, including which columns are visible, editable fields, page sorting, and number of items per page. You also have the option to save your current project scope selection into your view.

Thanks again to all of you for voting. I hope you enjoy this new feature.
