It seems there is a lot of interest (in my company) in Atlassian because of their hipchat integration with dev tools.

We also use Skype for Business in-house and I think it would be great to have an integration there with V1. Also, Microsoft just came out with Teams and that seems perhaps even a better way.

Conceptually we want to have the ability to work on a story, task, epic and then real-time start chatting. Have the chat history be augmented to the item. Basically chat rooms = backlog conversations.

  • I wholeheartedly agree with this feature. Our dev teams have been using Microsoft Teams for a good six months now and to have the discussions in V1 be broadcast into a chat channel on Microsoft Teams would be very handy. Basically, you would associate the team in V1 to a chat channel on Microsoft Teams.

  • I would like to add my vote for Microsoft Teams as a Push Notification target. It supports Webhook Integration in the same manner as the currently configured Slack platform. The formatting of the message payloads would be different, but would use the same mechanism. Our organization already has MS Teams in house, and would be a significant cost savings over having to implement Slack in order to take advantage of that feature of V1. Which would also make the business case for adoption of V1 more valuable.

  • +1 teams is becoming more a part of the Microsoft 365 space and integrating to everything. This is desperately needed on the conversation side, being able to update conversations in teams and relate back to work items is a huge need for us.

  • +1 If I could create Microsoft Teams tabs for, say, Roadmap, Team Board and Sprint Burndown, that would be very useful. You could add different V1 reports (in tabs) for different teams.

  • @Tristan, we were able to link team rooms in tabs by adding a web tab type and just using the URL. This is a work around and sometimes the users get double prompted.

  • @Rusty - Good call, Many thanks :-)

  • We are also using Microsoft Teams a lot and it would be great for us to link the conversation in an Backlog Items to a Microsoft teams Chat.

  • My company uses Microsoft Teams. This would be a helpful integration.

  • Agreed!
