Product Manager wants to import 1300 ideas from Ideascope (similar product to VersionOne Ideas) instead of cutting and pasting every one of them. It's valuable as we cant start all over as advisors still need to rate them.
Solution 1
A similar import feature existent in Version1 Ent where you would pick a csv file and import into Ideas. Required fields: Idea, Submission Date, Users, Score, Text, Status and Category.
Solution 2
To allow Version1 Ent to demote or convert a request into Version1 Ideas. We would import all Ideascope ideas into the Request tab of Version1 Ent and then convert to Version1 Ideas.

I've done this by importing ideas into a backlog and then selecting "Generate idea" for each of these backlog items. This is rather manual and time-consuming. I agree, there should be a mass import from Excel just like for backlog items.
