Bugzilla 4.4 is 2.5 years old and won't be supported indefinitely. Bugzilla 5 was introduced several months ago and is the new, stable standard. Having to work with an old, outdated version of Bugzilla to get V1 integration creates a significant hardship, especially for those in the position of deploying Bugzilla for the first time.
