I would like the ability to add a backlog item from the story board instead of having to go to the product backlog

• Thank you all for your valuable input and votes. I am happy to announce that this feature has been implemented and will be available in the upcoming Sprint 2018 release.
  
  You can now add items in place directly on all boards (TeamRoom, PlanningRoom, Storyboard). One click of the mouse, enter the title and the new item is placed on your board.
