When exporting backog items with a description into an excel report it splits the description field into multiple excel cells based on carriage return in the message. Really annoying.

This was claimed to be fixed by 2009 in another "idea" but the problem still persists in the Fall 2012 release. We made a fresh release of the Fall 2012 release to get a fresh start so it is not an upgrade issue.

  • We still have this issue. Excel exports generates multiple columns for Description field when we have tables within Story Description. Making it very difficult to Sort, Filter or even Copy...

  • Additionally, the "Order" field column does not export the numbers in the order field. It exports the order field as 3 columns with random merged cells and no data. The numbers/data in the Order field are lost when exported. Please fix this.
