It would be great we could filter by multiple variables on droplists like (Owners)

  • I agree. We have some backlog items (or defects - from now on called "items") assigned to a certain developer, but some items are unassigned. Before starting a new task I have to check both items assigned to "me" and unassigned items to find out which item is most important or best for me to start with. Showing all items and simply highlighting the ones assigned to "me" is not an option when you have 30+ items waiting to be done. At least it should be possible to filter on owner "me" and "unassigned" at the same time.

  • Completely agree! This is kind of a big gap in the V1 analytics feature. Why support filters, when you cannot include values from all picklists? And why limit filtering to single value picklists, when customers also derive value from the use of multi-value picklists? It does not make sense for such a powerful application as V1 to have such a glaring flaw.

I can understand why there could be some concerns with free-form fields, because free-form fields carry the risk of a performance hit for the db. I really don’t understand why multi-value lookups would not be supported, though. It’s disappointing and annoying.

Is support for multi-value field filters not included with this (on the roadmap) feature? https://ideaspace.versionone.com/default/Idea/Detail/50

  • Thank you all for your valuable input. I am happy to announce that the new filters have arrived.

You can now pick any applicable field to filter by and then select more than one value where applicable (for example Owner=Susan, Bob or Mary, or Priority=High or Critical).

Please check it out and keep the good ideas coming.
